Target Group

Objectives

  • To analyse and define the communication process and then identifying the major communication roadblocks that may be encountered.
  • To work towards practical solutions in improving communication and thereby improving rapport and relationships.

 

Methodology

All training is best designed to achieve maximum group attention. Fast paced and entertaining, it allows the delegates to take away real practical skills, rather than just theoretical knowledge.

 

Timing

One morning; generally starts at 8h00 and run to about 12h00. Timing is dependent on locale.

  • The nine communication roadblocks:
    • Inadequate vocabulary and language.
    • Strong emotions.
    • Distractions and noise.
    • Verbosity and verbiage.
    • Errors in perception.
    • Wrong assumptions.
    • Selective listening.
    • Prejudice.
    • Talking instead of listening.
  • Listening skills.
  • The three step formula for improving.

Body language:

  • What body language is.
  • How to read it.
  • How to fake it.
  • Cultural differences.
  • The reliability of body language.
  • Body space and territorial needs.
  • Voice tone and their meanings.
  • The body language dictionary.

 

Cost

R695-00 (excl. VAT) per delegate attending for all bookings for 2018 seminars received before/on 31st of December 2017 and paid before/on the 31st of January 2018.

All bookings received for 2018 seminars after the 31st of December 2017 will be at R795-00 (excl. VAT) per delegate attending.
